• APA states that you list authors’ last names, followed by their initials.
• Publication year is placed in parentheses, followed by a period.
• Authors must be listed in alphabetical order.
• If more than one work by an author is cited, the earliest dated work must be first.
• Use hanging indents (i.e., first line aligned left with each subsequent line indented).
• Do not use a hyphen to break a URL— use a soft return (SHIFT + RETURN) after a slash (/) or
before a period.
