Bakersfield College Student Government Association (BCSGA) is your Student Government on campus; it is composed of twelve senators and fourteen officers - here to share your voice. BCSGA is responsible for representing you, while working collaboratively with our student organizations and hosting various campus events, such as Welcome Week, Homecoming, Spring Fling, and Distinguished Speakers.
BCSGA allocates your student fees to programs and services that directly benefit students and uses the funds received from the Student Representation Fee to voice your opinions at local, regional, and state levels.
Our Association not only hosts events, but also represents your opinions, needs, and concerns through participating in such groups as the College
Council, Safety Committee, Bookstore Committee, Academic
Senate, and the Student Senate for California Community
Colleges, and many more campus and district wide committees.
