It’s a great day to be a CityHawk!
Welcome to Community College of Denver (CCD)! As you begin your academic journey at CCD know that we are committed to helping you achieve your educational goals. Whether you are here to earn a certificate to enhance your work skills, to complete an associate degree to enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year college, or to earn one of our bachelor’s degrees, CCD is here to help you succeed on your path. This CityHawk SOAR Guide was developed with you in mind so you can plan your academic year.
Enclosed within these pages is information about academic advising, financial aid and scholarships, our tutoring center, career and transfer services, and the counseling center. This guide also includes a daily planner so you can stay on track with important dates. Organize your day to do the important things needed to achieve academic success such as mapping out your study and class times, assignments and exams.
Also, be sure to familiarize yourself with our Student Code of Conduct and other policies on campus.
We know that being a college student can be challenging, but the payoff is one that will bring feelings of achievement and self- confidence, in addition to setting you on the path to financial independence.
