Chaffey Student Toolkit
The purpose of the Chaffey Student Toolkit is to provide new and continuing Chaffey College students a simple, easy-to-access online space to prepare for life as a Chaffey College student and connect to the Chaffey College community.
The Chaffey Student Toolkit can be accessed by all Chaffey students, staff, and faculty in Canvas at https://chaffey.instructure.com/courses/13035
The Chaffey Student Toolkit contains:
• Student Checklist: Prepare to begin each new semester by reviewing step-by- step information on getting started as a Chaffey College Panther including logging into accounts, creating an educational plan, registering for courses, applying for financial aid, paying enrollment fees, purchasing books, accessing courses, and more!
• Tech Checklist: Check your understanding of Chaffey's major technology platforms: Canvas, Zoom, and Cranium Café. Users will learn about how each of these tech platforms are used at Chaffey, how to create accounts and access these platforms, and test their audio and video capabilities in order to prepare to use them as a Chaffey College student.
• Chaffey College Resource Guide: Learn about Chaffey resources and departments available to all Chaffey students. This Resource Guide contains a brief description of the types of services and resources offered and how to connect with each department in an online environment.
• How-To Video Tutorials: View how-to video tutorials on Chaffey processes such as paying for classes, scheduling appointments with Chaffey departments, navigating the My Chaffey portal, registering for classes, accessing Panther email, and much more!
• Your Success Team at Chaffey: Connect to a network of support designed specifically for students in each of Chaffey’s Academic and Career Communities. Students will find a team of Chaffey staff and faculty who are committed to their individual success and can assist them with navigating life within their Academic and Career Community.
Live support is also available in the Chaffey Student Toolkit to assist students with questions related to preparing for the upcoming semester and connecting to Chaffey services and resources. Please check the Chaffey Student Toolkit page in Canvas for current live support hours.
