Located within the Center for Culture and Social Justice (CCSJ) and under the Office of Equity, Outreach and Communications, Special Populations and Equity Programs implements and oversees the activities found in Chaffey College’s Student Equity Plan. Our goal is to empower and support disproportionately impacted students; promote a culturally responsive campus environment; and identify solutions and resources that foster student success. We create opportunities for students to connect with resources and special programs both on and off campus in order to develop their leadership skills and engage in high-impact activities. Our office also houses the Panther Care Program which provides services to students experiencing housing and/or food insecurities. The program is also home to the Panther Pantry. We work to build a network of support for students through campus and community resources.
