UNDERSTANDING YOUR GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
While your major course of study prepares you for your life’s work, General Education (GE) helps you understand the big picture, see connections, build skills, explore possible majors and minors, and become an all-around, well-educated person. You must complete 48 units of GE coursework. Some of the GE coursework can also “double-count” toward major and graduation requirements.
