WellCat Counseling Center provides one-on-one
and group counseling with the aim of enhancing students’ personal and academic effectiveness
by offering emotional support in crisis conditions, facilitating personal growth, and promoting a
campus environment that values positive mental health. Student-led programs—UMatter and Peer Coaching—raise awareness about emotional and physical self-care, and teach the necessary skills for students to make self-affirming choices in college and throughout their lifetime.
