                                Welcome to the Green River Swamp, Gators!
The Student Affairs team is excited to welcome you to Green River College. We’re delighted you chose to be a part of our Green River Gator family!
As you navigate your classes, increase your knowledge, and access services, we hope you feel a sense of belonging and connection to your new community. Your educational journey in college is a mix of academic and social experiences, and Green River College is a place for you to learn and grow. Our work is to help ensure you benefit from our campus resources, support services, and educational programs. We are here for you!
One of our College core values focuses on student success and is our highest priority for all students. We encourage you to take advantage of the services within Student Affairs and throughout the College. We are confident your participation in curricular and co-curricular activities will enrich your campus experience. Our staff are committed to seeing you excel academically, professionally, and socially.
This handbook is a tool to help connect you with other students at Green River, including participation in Campus Life leadership opportunities, student government, recreation and athletics, professional societies, cultural organizations, clubs & organizations, a myriad of events/activities/programs and so much more. Use this handbook as it is a useful resource and reference to aid you on your academic journey.
We encourage you to use the Student Handbook to keep track of your schedule, look up resources and find out when things are happening so you can take full advantage of your time as a Gator! You have many opportunities to fill your college experience with amazing, unique, and fun experiences.
