Dreisbach/Anderson Student Success Center (Building 102), Second Floor, Suite 200
§ Monday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Last test begins at 6 p.m. and must be completed by 7 p.m.; Center doors are locked at 6 p.m.)
§ Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Last test begins at noon and must be completed by 1 p.m.; Center doors are locked at 12 noon.)
§ The Center follows the college’s schedule for holidays and inclement weather.
The Testing Center administers various comprehensive and national examinations and provides proctoring services as well. All students must sign in using the virtual queue system in the Student Success Center.

Hours:
§ Students will need their Blackboard login information.
§ Provide current photo identification card (i.e., driver's license, passport, GTC Student
ID). Every student entering the center must provide hard copy of their identification.
§ Children are never allowed in the Center. Additionally, guests, visitors, and pets (other
than documented service animals) are prohibited.
§ Students may only use materials pre-approved by the instructor in writing.
§ Personal items are not allowed with a special exception made for smartphones needed
to validate Multi-Factor Authentication. Prohibited items include but are not limited to ear buds, scratch paper, purses, book bags, smart watches, flash drives, mp3 players, e-readers, cameras, tablets, personal data assistants, and books.
§ Free secure lockers are available to store personal items during testing.
§ Smartphones will be allowed for those who need to complete MFA, and will need to be
secured in the covered pouch at the end of each row prior to testing.
§ Students are not permitted to bring their own scratch paper. Center staff will provide
scratch paper, pencils, ear plugs, and basic calculators, as approved by the instructor.
§ Students living more than 50 miles from the Barton Campus may test in a preapproved
testing facility; however, the testing facility must be approved through GTC’s Testing Center.
§ Students having technical problems preventing them from testing should submit a Testing Center and Proctoring Request Form. A link to this form is located in Helpful Links for Students on the Blackboard landing page.
§ All students must sign-in using our virtual queue system when they arrive at the Student Success Center.
