ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
An environment of academic integrity is vital to show respect for self and others. It includes a commitment to not engage in or tolerate acts of falsification, misrepresentation or deception. When writers fail to give credit for direct quotes or when paraphrasing does not state the source, plagiarism occurs. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure all work submitted is authentic, with the work or ideas of others fully and correctly acknowledged. Plagiarism or cheating will result in a zero. Additional consequences may include substitute assignment, detention, parent conference, and/or in-school suspension.
ACADEMIC RECOGNITION
North Hall High recognizes student achievement through its Trojan to Trojan Academic Achievement Program. A Renaissance Rally is held to recognize students who earn academic incentive cards. Cards permit students to either free or discounted entry to NHHS events and discounts at various businesses in the area. See Ms. Sewell for details regarding qualification requirements.
