Independent Learning Initiative
or
ILI
is a fee-based academic
support program that provides structure, instruction, and monitoring
for students needing additional guidance during their college
experience. Students meet with a Learning Specialist
(LS) weekly in a one-on-one meeting to develop a
tailored learning plan for the student. They identify
academic strengths and areas for growth. Students
learn to monitor their academic progress and
use strategies to work toward becoming effective,
independent students.

test-taking, and learning strategies.

serve basis.
