Welcome to NTC
I’m Darrin Strosahl, vice president of academic affairs for NTC, and I am pleased you have chosen to be one
of our outstanding students. We are proud to prepare graduates for many of northern Minnesota’s most in-demand, well-paid and rapidly growing careers.
I hope you will use this planner throughout the year as your guide to the activities and resources that will help you make the most of your education. Also, be sure to visit the Student Success Center often to help you reach your goal of graduation.
Though I hope and expect you will always find plenty of people at NTC
to answer your questions or provide other assistance, remember that the door to our administrative offices is always open to you. My colleague and administrative assistant Doreen Kuhrke is the friendly face you see as you enter the office and can point you in the right direction. You’ll know her by the way she greets you with a friendly “can I help you?” as soon as you walk through the door.
If you want or need to see me instead, don’t hesitate to make an appointment and I will meet with you as soon as possible. In the meantime, I hope we cross paths in the hallways, in The Roost or in one of your classes.
