Your Student ID card serves as your library card. The library offers a collection of books, leisure reading, journals, newspapers, magazines, DVDs, videos, audio books and electronic materials. Over 50 computers are available for use and include printing capabilities. Other services include: laptops for loan; email and chat reference service during business hours; group study rooms (reservations recommended); new and popular book displays; photocopiers/ scanner; and off-campus access to databases.

The Lion’s Den is the place to find College announcements and all your personal student information. The RVCC email (Lion Mail) is the official communication method with the College. Most important college communications, including bills and grade reports, are directed to students through the Lion Mail. It is important to become familiar with your Student ID number (G number), initial password, password maintenance and self-service password reset.
The online services are the best way for you to keep track of your records and progress toward graduation. Click on the Lion icon, and then choose the Student Services tab:
• Register for classes
• View and print your class schedule
• View financial aid status
• Check your tuition bill amount, due date, and make tuition bill payments
• View and print final grades
• Generate and print a degree evaluation to monitor progress toward your degree • View holds that may limit or restrict registration
• Add or drop classes
• Request enrollment verification for employers and insurance companies
• View and print unofficial transcripts
• Request official transcripts
• Sign up for the emergency alert system (for campus closing information)
