Southwestern Community College’s Paralegal certi cate program is designed with the adult learner in mind. A 2-year associate degree or a 4-year undergraduate degree is required to enroll in the certi cate program.
The Paralegal certi cate can be earned in a year or less. Students must take two (2) of the eight elective courses, noted by *. All other courses are required.
Upon completion of the certi cate program, graduates will be eligible to take the Paralegal Certi cation Exam administered by North Carolina State Bar.
