MISSION
The University Student Center’s mission is to enhance student life at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus by supporting and enhancing the student experience through our facilities and services.
VISION
We encourage the environment where students and the community feel comfortable, united, and welcome. We envision the University
Student Center expanding as the campus and the city of St. Petersburg grows in the future. We believe it will further traditions and strengthen alumni relations.
Division of Student Success: The Student Life Center is home to many of the departments under Student Success including the Vice Chancellor of Student Success, Dean of Students, Student Conduct, Student Outreach & Support, and Student Accessibility Services. Student Life & Engagement: Come visit our Student Government, Harborside Activities Board, Office of Multicultural Affairs, and Leadership & Student Organization offices. Get Involved!
Career Center: The Career Center is the place to go to help you plan for your next steps after college including career exploration, graduate school prep, job searching preparations, and more.
Wellness Center: Located on the second floor, the Wellness Center provides a larger variety of free services for students including but not limited to psychological services, medical services, prevention services, awareness trainings & programs, victim advocacy, violence prevention, and much more.
Fitness Center: The Fitness Center is not only home to a variety of cardio and strength equipment, but is the place to go to partake in engaging in group fitness classes or to get free consultation with personal trainers to help set up fitness goals that are right for you. Parenting Room: Located on the second floor, the parenting room offers privacy and comfort for a breast-feeding mother. Support-A-Bull Market Food Pantry: Available to all active students, this market provides access to food assistance to any student-in- need and has no limit on the number of times it can be used.
Ballroom & Meeting Space: Home to any of our campus’ signature events and activities.
Food & Retail: 727 Eats at The Reef offers guests the convenience of a POD Market combined with a variety of snacking options and
household items. There is also grab’n’go options including Bento Sushi, fresh produce, and Coca-Cola products. Also don’t forget to check out the Coral Café, proudly serving Starbucks.
Lounges: Our lounge seating around the building provides opportunities to catch up on assignments or meet friends.
Commuter Student Resources: Charging stations on the 1st & 2nd floor, meeting rooms that can be used for studying, a microwave, and a tire inflator/battery starter with jumper cables.
USC TRADITIONS:
Each fall and spring finals week, the USC transforms into the University Study Center, offering extended hours, individual and group study rooms, wellness sessions to rejuvenate your mind, themed events & activities designed to help you relax.
STANDARD HOURS OF OPERATIONS: Monday-Friday: 7am – 10pm | Saturday-Sunday: 9am – 9pm
