STUDENT HEALTH & WELLNESS
USF’s student health and wellness services can help you achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and thereby support your academic success. Whether you are sick, injured, managing a chronic health problem, or working to develop a healthier lifestyle, we are here to help! Our mission is to provide students with high-quality health care and education to strengthen student learning and promote lifelong success through health and wellness. We combine a wide range of medical, counseling, prevention, and wellness services to help students remain healthy and succeed academically. All services are subsidized by your tuition, allowing us to offer general medical consultations at no out-of-pocket cost and quality specialty services at student rates. We can bill private insurance or put fees on OASIS, so you don’t delay necessary medical treatment.
Our student health services clinics provide primary care examinations and treatment by board-certified health
care providers. All clinics operate with an open access appointment system in order to accommodate same day appointments. You will be scheduled for the first available appointment based on the type and urgency of your medical symptoms. It is best to call and schedule your appointment. In addition to in-person appointments, we offer tele-health and virtual appointments so you can access quality medical services from the comfort of your home. We participate with e-prescribing and offer a secure health portal so you can communicate with your medical team. We respect patient confidentiality. We utilize electronic health records and medical records are managed in a strictly confidential manner.
All clinics offer: All clinics offer primary care such as physical exams, sick visits, immunizations, flu shots, sexual shots, sexual health and gynecology, LGBTQ+ healthcare, COVID-19 screening & care, and after-hours nurse line.
