1st Day:
□ Arrive early: parking can be especially heavy first week
□ Know where your classes are
□ Visit a Welcome Back station
□ Be prepared for class; have notepad, pen
□ Get to know your instructor, class, fellow students
1st Week:
□ Understand the syllabi from each of your classes
□ Write down assignments, deadlines, tests in your planner
□ Explore the campus; visit the library, SAC, ATC, One Stop
□ Confirm your FA. Apply for work-study as needed
1st Month:
□ Figure out your study patterns and stick with what works
□ Visit the ACT – Tutoring, Writing Center, Math Success Center
□ Make appointment with your counselor, confirm your Ed Plan
□ Have a conversation with your instructor
1st Semester:
□ Attend classes regularly, do your work, reach out for assistance
□ Have faith in yourself
□ Connect with others who have similar goals
□ Prepare for and Register early for next semester
