ADVISING SESSION GUIDELINES
ALL DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE SEEKING STUDENTS MUST SPEAK WITH AN ADVISOR EVERY SEMESTER PRIOR TO REGISTRATION.
ASK THESE QUESTIONS IN YOUR ADVISING SESSION:
• What classes do I need to register for next semester?
Inquire about optional courses if the recommended courses are
unavailable.
• Are these classes available next semester at the campus, time, and in the delivery format I need to take them?
• What is my target graduation date?
NOTE: Be aware of Priority Graduation Application deadlines for each
semester www.ws.edu/student- services/records/graduation/
• Has my advising hold been removed to allow registration access?
• Is there any follow-up for me or for my advisor before I register?
Do not leave your advising session without an overall review of your degree evaluation.
• Spring 2023 registration begins November 1 at 8:00am
• Summer and fall 2023 registration begin April 3 at 8:00am
• Use My WS (http://my.ws.edu) to register for classes, view financial aid information, account balance, and make sure you have no alerts on your account
