Birmingham Council PTAs Leadership Training (National PTA Standards Training)
PTA/PTSA presidents and ALL officers MUST ATTEND. Vital information will be distributed. Please make sure to put your Council and State Dues in your 2019-2020 Budget along with your Reflections Banquet Table, and the State PTA Convention. Your State and Council Dues must be paid by September 30, 2020 to make The Early Bird. In order to receive awards from the Council and Alabama State PTA, you must be in Good Standing. Alabama State PTA President Mrs. Kim Munford will be our guest for Leadership Training
National PTA Standards Training (Welcome All Families into the School Community),& Technology Day September 30, 2019 is Alabama PTA Deadline for Membership Early Bird and Birmingham Council of PTAs Early Bird for PTA dues. Regions Bank will be doing a class on Money Matters.
Family Engagement Month (Birmingham Council of PTAs Workshop) National PTA Standards Reading is the Key to Life, Bingo Word Game, and Common Core Standards. Birmingham Council of PTAs will start our Toy Drive for students of Birmingham City Schools.
American Education Week (Parents, please visit your child’s school.) National PTA Standards Workshop (Supporting Student Success)
Tic Tac Toe with Math, Common Core Standards.

Birmingham Council of PTAs Reflections Deadline
PTA/PTSAs please turn in your school’s or community PTA Reflections by Friday, December 4, 2020, 12:00 NOON. PTA/PTSA must be in good standing with Birmingham Council of PTAs, Alabama State PTA and National PTA to participate.
Theme: “TBA” Please drop off at PTA Office, Lincoln Center, 901 Ninth Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35204 – ROOM 310. If you send to the State PTA first, they will return it to the Birmingham Council and it may miss the deadline. Birmingham Council of PTAs will not accept entries after 12:00 NOON, Friday, December 4, 2020.
TOY DRIVE Birmingham Council of PTAs will be collecting toys for girls and boys in need for Christmas. Please bring new toys, bikes, and more and share your joy! Please bring to PTA Office, Lincoln Center, 901 Ninth Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35204 – ROOM 310.
National PTA Standards, Technology Day & Presidents and Officers Roundtable Training
(Speaking Up for Every Child.) (Math Inside Out.) Common Core Standards. Leadership Training is a must for ALL Presidents and Officers in order to run your PTA/PTSA effectively.
Birmingham Council of PTAs Leadership Training for Presidents and Officers-- MUST ATTEND. DEADLINE for Awards Applications for teachers, principals and support staff, parent of the year, local unit of the year; we will not accept after 2/18/2021 because we must submit them to Alabama PTA by March 1, 2021. You must be in Good Standing to submit Awards Applications. Awards Applications must be submitted to Council, not sent to state because they will return them to the Council and then it may be too late to meet the state’s deadline.
DEADLINE for Reflections Ads, Tables, and Tickets for the Reflections Banquet. No Tables or Tickets will be dispersed after deadline.
