5. Campus Jobs & Career Exploration
• Get a campus job either as a work-study or student hourly employee. Visit CCD.edu/Work- Study.
• Set an appointment to receive resume and cover letter help, by visiting CCD.edu/Career.
6. Don’t Forget to Register Early for Classes
Class schedules are available on the website. Register early through Navigate to get the classes you need at the time you want.
7. Get Financial Aid
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at FAFSA.gov
• Priority deadline for the FAFSA is April 15. CCD’s School Code is 009542.
• To retain financial aid eligibility, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements, which include maintaining an overall 2.0 GPA and not failing or withdrawing from too many classes.

8. Pay for Classes

Tuition is due the Monday before the semester begins. If you are approved for financial aid, confirm that your award is enough to cover the bill. If it is not, you must set up a payment plan for the difference. Check with the cashier for your payment options. If you register for a course after the payment deadline, payment is due at the time you register.
• If you miss the payment deadline, you may be at risk for having your balance to Virtuoso
Collections agency and a registration hold added to your account.
• Access your Student Refund Account (Bank Mobile) to select your refund preferences once you receive the information in the mail. Contact the Cashier’s office.
9. Transfer to a Four-Year
College or University
Visit the Career & Transfer Center to plan for steps to transfer after you graduate.
• Tell your Academic Advisor that you want to graduate and transfer to a college or university.
• Request a transfer-planning guide for your major from the four-year institution.
• Request an official transcript to send to the four-year college. Call 303.556.2420, email ORR@ ccd.edu or visit CCD.edu/Transcripts.
10. Graduate!
• Talk with your advisor each semester to stay on track for graduation.
• Apply to graduate at CCD.edu/GradApp when you register for the final semester.
• Participate in commencement whether you graduate in the summer, fall or spring and
