                  Fitness Center
The Carl Sandburg College Fitness Center offers
a relaxed atmosphere with a strong educational
foundation. If you are a newcomer to exercise
or a seasoned novice, you will appreciate the
one-on-one service we offer. We are dedicated
to providing health enhancement services to
the college community. Goals of the Sandburg
Fitness Center include developing positive
lifestyle habits, learning the principles of fitness and acquiring the skills of lifetime activities that lead to continued participation. We offer a comprehensive fitness program at an affordable cost. You may choose to use the facilities as
a community member as non-credit or as a student and receive credit toward your college career. The Fitness Center is open to the public, serving a diverse population from 16 years of age to senior citizens. Free use for students enrolled in three or more credit hours. Supervisors are in the Fitness Center at all times to offer assistance. Fitness equipment at the Carthage Campus is located in Room 10. Health Services
Students who become ill, injured or need emergency medical treatment may seek help at OSF St. Mary Medical Center and Cottage Hospital, both in Galesburg. The College assumes no responsibility for medical treatment of students and has no facilities or professional staff for emergency treatment of ill or injured students.
Services for Students with Disabilities
In compliance with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the amended Americans with Disabilities Act, Carl Sandburg College disability support offers students with disability accommodations deemed reasonable in relation to the proven impact of the disability. Sandburg strives to provide a process for accessing disability support that is not burdensome to individuals seeking assistance.
