Paying your bill We offer various convenient options for paying your tuition and fees, including cash, check or accepted debit/credit cards (Visa®, Mastercard®, Discover® and American Express®). Tuition deadlines are communicated on our website and throughout the campus. Our Business Office proactively sends postcards and reminders via email/text at least two weeks before these deadlines. Flexibility is key – you have the freedom to make one or multiple payments to the Business Office as long as your tuition is settled in full by the deadline. With an additional fee, we offer a monthly payment plan for added convenience. To avoid any disruptions to your academic journey, it’s important to meet these deadlines. We’re here to support you every step of the way. If you need assistance, our dedicated team is available to help. You can make payments conveniently online, by phone, mail, in person or through select third- party entities. Stay informed about your tuition balance and deadlines by accessing mySandburg. For more information, visit sandburg.edu/finaid, or call 309.341.5283. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. Sandburg’s federal school code is 007265. Loans Student loans are optional. If you wish to borrow, complete the steps to apply for a federal student loan. • Go to sandburg.edu, and click on Services. • Then choose Financial Aid. • Then choose Loans. Scholarships The Carl Sandburg College Foundation provides scholarships based on academic excellence, financial need, residency, leadership, program of study or other requirements. Each year the foundation awards more than $200,000 in scholarships to Sandburg students. Scholarship applications open Oct. 1, and all students are eligible to apply. The priority deadline for the scholarship application is March 15, with a final deadline of June 15. The completion of only one application is necessary to potentially qualify for various scholarships. For a scholarship directory and how to apply, visit sandburg.edu/scholarships. Sandburg Foundation scholarship application opens Oct. 1. • Log onto mySandburg, and go to Scholarship App Page. • Click on the scholarship application button, and choose log in. • Complete the application by March 15 for priority consideration; final deadline is June 15. • Changes cannot be made to submitted applications.
