                Student email-boxes have a quota of 100 GB, including attachments. Students that reach that limit will no longer be able to send or receive messages. To minimize this inconvenience, routinely clean-out your mailbox.
Email Access after Graduation
To request an Alumni email you must contact the IT Service Desk within 12 months of the last day of the last class you attended at CVTC. Alumni email accounts are for life and do NOT include Office 365 or OneDrive access. Students' login and manage their password at https://portal.office.com
Student Information System (SIS)
The Student Information System (SIS) is a secure system within MyCVTC that allows access to school and work records. Through SIS, students can obtain information such as grades, unofficial transcripts, class schedules, financial aid status, and class registration.
File Storage
CVTC recommends saving documents to Microsoft OneDrive using your student email account because it synchronizes your local data to the cloud. It is simple to share and simple to access from any computer anywhere. For a step-by-step guide, go to https://kb.cvtc.edu/9968.
Wireless Network Connections

Printing Fee
CVTC students are charged a printing fee based on the exact amount of printing. The standard charge is $0.07 per page for a single-sided black and white copy. Duplex, larger paper size and color prints cost more. Each time a student prints, the location, and number of pages is logged by a system called “PaperCut.” Printing charges are posted to student accounts prior to the end of the semester. Students can pay their printing charges online in MyCVTC with Cashier Connection or at the Cashiers Office.
For print charge concerns, send an email to cashiersoffice@cvtc.edu include your name, the printer name, date, time, and room number.
Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.is available at no cost to CVTC students through Office 365, for directions visit: https://kb.cvtc.edu/office365.
Internet/Email Acceptable Use Policy
The use of the College Internet/e-mail is a privilege, not a right; and the College maintains the right to limit access. E-mail is NOT guaranteed to be private. The Vice President- Student Services or his/her designee has the right to monitor and track Internet usage and access information stored in any user directory, on the current user screen, or in e-mail. The Vice President-Student Services or his/her designee may deny, revoke, or suspend specific user accounts.
Acceptable Use
It is acceptable to use the College Internet and e-mail access for purposes relating directly to education, research, or job seeking. Personal use is acceptable as long as the following parameters are followed.
Account Forwarding
Students are provided an email account @student.cvtc.edu. They are expected to monitor these accounts for both classroom and college business announcements. Mail will not be automatically forwarded from these accounts.
