The Office of LGBTQ+ Initiatives and Allyship seeks to create an affirming
and equitable campus climate for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning and Ally (LGBTQ+) students. We provide training, educational, and social programing to FAU students, faculty, and staff. The office aims to foster a visible network of support by coordinating inclusionary efforts across campus.
The Office of Diversity Education and Training aims to foster an inclusive environment through diversity and inclusion training and educational programs. The office collaborates with units across the university to create an institutional climate of inclusive excellence that promotes awareness, social justice, and advocacy.
The Office of Black Student Success and Initiatives (OBSSI) aims to connect students of the African Diaspora at FAU to support services, initiatives, programs and resources that prepare them for success beyond graduation.
The Office of International Student Support seeks to engage international students and scholars for the purpose of providing a full and positive American university experience through educational, cultural, social, and service engagement opportunities.

The Office of First-Generation Student Success
Serves as a referral hub to the various services that exist to inspire and assist first- generation students at Florida Atlantic University, including academic support, advising, financial assistance and scholarships, mentorship, and the “First and Proud” registered student organization.

FAU’s Counseling and Psychological Services helps students with a wide range
of social, emotional, and academic concerns. FAU CAPS provides students with timely and effective mental health services that allow them to improve and maintain their mental well-being so that they can meet their educational, personal, and psychological goals. Call 561-297-CAPS to make an appointment to speak with a clinician. Crisis support is available by phone 24/7/365 which is accessed after- hours using the CAPS phone line and following the prompts. Confidential mental health services are provided to FAU students at no charge. All ethical standards by professional associations and state licensing boards are strictly followed.
