Beyond Food (fau.edu/dean/beyondfood/index.php)
Please check the website for other more information about Beyond Food and for the referral service.
The Beyond Food Program is a holistic program that utilizes the expertise of various on- and off-campus resources to assist FAU students suffering from food insecurity. Furthermore, based on the availability of donations, the program serves any FAU student by providing a 1-day emergency supply and/or 3-day supply of canned and/or non-perishable food. The Beyond Food program operates primarily on referrals from FAU faculty, staff, and fellow students who have identified students with temporary food assistance needs. Students may also self-refer. The Beyond Food program is able to serve members of the FAU community by asking individuals to complete an intake form prior to meeting with a Beyond Food team member. Donations to the Beyond Food program can be made through the Dean of Students Office.
