Campus Care Clinic
The primary focus of FVTC’s Campus Care Clinic is prevention and care for illness or injury while
on campus. Services are available to currently enrolled students, college employees, thier spouses and chilren (age 2+) who are on the FVTC Health Plan. Services provided include: wellness consultations, immunizations (Influenza, TDPA, Pneumonia), blodd pressure checks, glucose or rapid lab tests such
as rapid strep, sports physicals, and treatments of minor illnesses. The Campus Care Clinic is located in Room HS201 on the Appleton campus. For more information, call (920) 735-5745 or visit our website at www.fvtc.edu/CampusCareClinic.
Community First Credit Union
A full-service financial institution is located on the Appleton Campus near Entrance 10. Students can open checking & savings accounts, apply for loans, and get help with financial questions. Community First is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Community First Credit Union provides a FEE FREE ATM near the Commons.
Connections Coffee Café
Enjoy a Latte, Mocha or Cappuccino at FVTC’s coffee café. Fresh baked goods, fruit smoothies and premium ice cream is available daily. Located in the Appleton Commons. Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 am - 7:00 pm and Friday 7:30 am – 2:00 pm.
Counseling & Advising Services
FVTC Counseling and Advising Services seeks to assist students in successfully accomplishing their academic, career and personal goals. Services include academic skills coaching, program advising, career development sessions, and personal counseling. FVTC Counseling and Advising also offers crisis coun- seling, alcohol and drug abuse consultations, and stress management/wellness assistance. Group work- shops are held throughout the school year for academic and career development. Students are encouraged to make an appointment, however walk in times are available on a first come, first serve basis. Discount Passes
Students can stop in the Student Life Center to purchase discount passes for many local businesses in- cluding movie theaters. In the summer, discount tickets are available for Summerfest, the Milwaukee Zoo and Noah’s Ark in Wisconsin Dells. Students must show a current student photo ID to receive discount benefits.
Discount Pool Passes
FVTC students may swim free at Appleton public pools. Students can pick up a FVTC pool pass from Student Life-Appleton Campus (E137). In order to receive a pool pass the student must show a current student photo ID. All students using the pool pass will be required to show identification at the pool. Students are limited to two passes per month. The pool pass is valid for current FVTC Students only. Family members or friends are not eligible.
