The Assessment and Testing center offers
placement testing for English and Math eligibility,
whole class, make-up, and accommodated
testing for Green River classes (faculty will
let students know if they utilize this service),
program entry testing for Green River's selective
admissions health occupations programs,
proctored testing for the GED®, and other
Pearson VUE administered tests in addition to
tests for other institutions and agencies.
All testing activity requires a photo ID card.
Testers will be required to store all belongings
in lockers while testing and should plan to
leave large bags in another secure location. For
more information on the services offered at the

hours of operation, fees, policies and procedures,

Registration is the process of scheduling and
paying for classes. Students can register for
classes online using web registration, pay their
tuition and fees, and start on their way to success.
When to Register
New students will be issued a registration
access time once the admissions process
has been completed. Students are eligible
to register once they have completed a new
student advising session and have received their
student PIN. Returning students will be issued
a registration access time based on the total
number of credits earned. Transfer students will
have their credits from other colleges added to
their total number of earned credits the quarter
after they are translated.
Web Registration
The primary means of registration for all
students taking courses for credit is web
registration. Computers are available in the
Enrollment Services and Student Life lobbies,
as well as in the Holman Library.
Last Day to Register
Students may register for classes through the
third day of the quarter for fall, winter, spring
and through the second day of the quarter for
summer. They may register for classes through
the second day of the quarter for summer
quarter. Beginning the fourth day of the quarter
(third for summer), students must register in
person with instructor signatures for each course
they wish to add. The only exceptions to this

Maximum Credit Load
Students must be registered for 12 or more credit
hours to be considered full-time students. Full-
time students usually register for 12 to 18 credits.
Students who wish to register for more than 20
credits, but are not enrolled in a professional or
technical program, must complete an Override
Maximum Credit Load form before they register.
This form may be obtained online or from
Enrollment Services. Students must complete
the form, obtain advisor signature and submit
the petition along with a registration form to
Enrollment Services.
