Running Start is a program for eligible high school juniors and seniors who are ready to take college courses. Students receive both college and high school credit while attending college tuition-free.

The focus of Recruitment & Outreach is to promote Green River College and its programs to the surrounding communities. Our staff attend community events, host on-campus and virtual events, and provide campus tours to visiting groups. If you would like to volunteer to help with events or campus tours, please contact
our office. Future students enjoy hearing from current students!
COUNSELING SERVICES

Counseling Services offers short-term personal counseling (in person and via telecounseling when appropriate) that focuses on personal growth
and the development of coping skills related to
a variety of concerns. The Counseling Services faculty members also offer workshops on academic success and personal wellness topics. Counseling is confidential and available at no charge.
For current Counseling Services hours, visit Green River’s website. For crisis support when a Counselor is not available call the King County Crisis Line at 866-427-4747, and for text crisis support text "HOME" to 741-741 (both are available 24 hours
a day).
