File your FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov
Once your information has been received, your requirements will be immediately posted to myHACC.
Complete your Aid Authorization and submit all your required documents to the Financial Aid office.
The verification process begins ONCE all documents are received.
Once verification is complete and your aid is packaged, it will appear on your myHACC account.
You must ACCEPT or DECLINE loan.
FIRST TIME BORROWING??
It will take approximately 1 week for HACC to receive your information.
This process can take approximately 2 to 4 weeks during peak times.
You must be enrolled in at least 6 credits to receive loans.
If you accept loans, you must also complete Entrance Counseling (EC) and sign a Master Promissory Note (MPN). Both are completed at www.studentloans.gov.
