Report behaviors of concern to Campus Police or online.
Among the objectives of the Safe Northeast program is to provide students, faculty, and staff with an accessible and efficient mechanism to
report Behaviors of Concern. Northeast State encourages all members of the college community to take an active role in campus safety. Such notifications will enable the College to intervene when necessary, offer referrals to campus and community resources, and identify patterns or systematic problems related to misconduct.
Northeast State has developed an online mechanism to report behaviors of concern in addition to direct reports to the Campus Police. Click the Report shield at www.NortheastState.edu/ReportingBehaviors. Online reports may be submitted anonymously.
The Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (BITA) Committee serves as the central point of contact for behavioral monitoring and threat assessment but is not a punitive or disciplinary board. The focus is on the behavior of concern and the determination of positive resolutions.
