Financial Aid
If you are among the more than 80 percent of all NTC students who receive some form of financial aid, it’s likely you have already met and worked with Grace Ferdinandt, the college’s helpful financial aid officer.
Ferdinandt, whose office is
located in the One Stop center,
frequently works with new
students who have questions
about or need to finalize their
financial aid at the start of a new
semester. She assists students in
reviewing and monitoring their aid awards in the Minnesota State e-services portal and can guide them through any potential appeals.
She also contacts students by phone or email if they are missing needed documents and to help manage any complications in the aid process. The most common challenges involve helping students avoid problems that can arise when they withdraw from classes.
Overall, Ferdinandt helps our students receive the most beneficial package of grants and loans for which they qualify, and helps them maintain that assistance throughout their studies at NTC.
