THE ROOST
The Roost is a student lounge initiated by the NTC Student Senate located in Room 309. The Roost is a casual spot to relax, play a game, study or just hang out and socialize that is open whenever the college is open.
CENTER FOR DIVERSITY,
EQUITY & INCLUSION
Opened at Bemidji State University in 2017, the Center for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (CDEI) supports students and employees of both BSU and NTC by serving as a hub for
student organizations and campus activities that support and celebrate diversity. For example,
in January 2018, six students participated in a Diversity Panel in the Community Commons, sharing stories about how their backgrounds and experiences have influenced their lives as college students. Watch for announcements of upcoming events. For more information, contact CDEI Coordinator Dr. Ye “Solar” Hong at (218) 755- 3773 or ye.hong@bemidjistate.edu.
AMERICAN INDIAN RESOURCE CENTER
The American Indian Resource Center (AIRC)
on the Bemidji State University campus serves
students at both BSU and NTC, planning events
and activities that support indigenous students
and are open to all students. The AIRC works
closely with the Council of Indian Students at
BSU and has also worked with an organization
of American Indian students at NTC. Watch for
announcements about upcoming events. For more information, contact Ann Humphrey, assistant AIRC director, at (218) 755-3353 or ann.humphrey@bemidjistate.edu.
