What is Raidernet?
Raidernet is the place where you check your email, registration status, grades, financial aid information, and more.
Accessing Raidernet
The RaiderNet link is found at the top of Roane State webpages.
If you do not have a RaiderNet account established, there is a link on the RaiderNet login page for New Users. The first time you sign on, you will use your Social Security number, but this number will be replaced with your new student ID number. Your PIN number will initially be a six-digit number composed of your birth date (month/day/last 2 digits of birth year). Please change your password. If you have difficulties accessing your account, the Help Desk is available during college operating hours.

Paying for College
Use these Keys to Success to help you with completing financial aid requirements.
1. Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) early. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. Note, this is the only place you should complete your FAFSA. The application is free. Never pay a service to complete your FAFSA. Roane State’s FAFSA school code is 009914.
2. Use the FAFSA’s IRS Data Retrieval Tool. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool is a convenient way for you to transfer tax return information from the IRS directly to your FAFSA.
3. Check your RaiderNet account for an alert regarding missing financial aid requirements. Complete all forms accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Request a tax return transcript: Sometimes, students are selected for verification (a process that checks information on the FAFSA for accuracy). If you are selected, then you will need an official IRS Tax Return Transcript. Print your transcript at www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get- Transcript.
5. Pay attention to limits on financial aid. Stay on track to graduate to avoid hitting these limits.
6. Follow up by continuing to check alerts in your RaiderNet account for any additional items that require you to take action. New alerts may appear at any given time for a variety of reasons. You should check the RaiderNet Alerts Box at least once a week.
All incoming degree-seeking students are assigned a Success Coach. Your Success Coach is your personal guide to help you during your first year of college. Please communicate with your Success Coach, and please respond when your Success Coach contacts you.

How do I know what my tuition and fees will be?
1. Log in to RaiderNet.
2. Click “Your Account.”
3. Select “Your Tuition and Fees.”
4. Select “Login.”
How do I complete my financial aid file?
1. Log in to RaiderNet.
2. Check your alerts.
3. Click on the alert titled “Financial Aid: You have unsatisfied requirements” for the appropriate year.
