Mt. SAC annually welcomes hundreds of F-1 international students to pursue higher education. The International Student
Center, located in Building 9C-5, serves as a home space for students and provides the following services: international student orientations, academic and education plan advising, workshops, campus activities, field trips, study area with computer stations, specialized events and programs, and academic resources. Additionally, the Admissions and Records Office, located in Building 9B, assists international students with admissions, understanding F-1 student rules and regulations, and becoming knowledgeable of student services. Men of Color Action Network (MOCAN)

TThe Men of Color Action Network (MOCAN) is an active support network that advocates for, provides resources to, and cultivates a community for diverse male students, faculty, staff, and administrators of color at California Community Colleges. MOCAN focuses on addressing systemic changes needed to foster an environment that optimizes the success and well- being of California Community College Men of Color. Join us on MOCAN events where we aim to provide a safe and inclusive space for men of color to build community with one another, learn about campus resources based on student needs/ interests, and connect with mentors and support services.

Pride Center

The Mt. SAC Pride Center is a welcoming and affirming space for students across the gender and sexuality spectrums. It offers resources and services to support student success, including academic counseling, computer and printing access,
a snack station, gender-affirming clothing, and academic support from faculty across disciplines. The Pride Center also provides community-building opportunities and educational programming that fosters inclusion and empowerment. Beyond student services, the Pride Center supports faculty, staff, and the surrounding community through professional development and advocacy efforts, promoting a more equitable and inclusive campus.
Promise+Plus Program

The Promise Plus program is a combination of financial and support services to help first-time, college students that have never attended college, be successful in their first two years of college. Promise+Plus students are engaged through mandatory participation in campus life through attending events across campus and meeting with a counselor each primary semester. The program provides money for books, food cards, school supplies, student success workshops, and more for participating students..
