• Utilize all Student Support Services including: tutoring, advising, Transfer Center, Writing Center, Tumaini, FYE, EOPS, STAR, Puente, Dreamers Resource Center, Welcome center, FYE, Promise, etc
• Meet with a counselor each semester in order to track your Comprehensive Education Plan
• Apply for financial aid (Highly Recommended)
• Attend all classes regularly and take advantage of office faculty hours
• Complete 67% of all attempted courses
• Avoid final grades of (D, F, or W)
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
• Research Majors and Careers
• Set Goals
• Visualize Success
IMPORTANT NOTE: Beginning in Fall 2016, in accordance with recent changes to the California Education Code and Title 5, students who are academically disqualified due to GPA or lack of progress will lose their California College Promise Grant (formerly the (BOG) Board of Governors Enrollment Fee Waiver).
