Leadership & Civic Engagement programs and services are offered on all three USF campuses. Sarasota-Manatee campus
The Office of Student Engagement at the Sarasota-Manatee campus provides co-curricular experiences for students that encourage relationship building and personal and professional growth. You can find opportunities for involvement in the following ways:

Co-curricular leadership programs
Expand your leadership potential with our Emerging Leaders Retreat, Advanced Leaders Retreat, or Boss Lady Retreat throughout the year.
Civic Engagement opportunities
Participate in volunteer opportunities throughout the year or join us for our annual Alternative Spring Break.
St. Petersburg campus
The Office of Leadership and Student Organizations on the St. Petersburg campus seeks to empower students to enhance their aptitude as leaders and understand how they can make a difference, whether as positional leaders or active participants in a group or community process. You can get involved with LSO through one-or more-of the following areas:
Co-curricular Leadership program
Students can gain leadership knowledge and experiences by attending a monthly Leadership Program, participating in the annual Disney Leadership Series, or be recognized as a leader by being nominated for a Rocky award.
Civic Engagement programs
Students wanting to strengthen their volunteerism and learn more about the Active Citizen Continuum can sign up to participate in an Un-Bull-ievable Service Break trip.
Student Organizations
LSO supports student organizations on the St. Petersburg campus by providing training sessions, tabling opportunities, and managing the student engagement platform, BullsConnect.
