 Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE) provides confidential and private services to students, staff, and faculty impacted by violence:
CAMPUS ADVOCACY provides confidential and private services to students, staff, and faculty impacted by violence:
• Offer a safe setting to discuss questions, concerns, and experiences regarding their incident.
• Assist in understanding and participating in the university disciplinary hearing;
• Provide options regarding campus supportive services, including academic, housing, and parking location.
• Discuss and provide on- and off-campus referrals and accompaniment to these services.
• If applicable, assist with criminal justice proceedings/medical matters as a direct or indirect result of a crime.
EDUCATION
CARE works in partnership with campus departments and community agencies to develop engaging programs to educate the campus community about our role in ending interpersonal violence on our campus and community.
WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING TOPICS INCLUDE:
• Recognizing the Warning Signs of an Unhealthy or Abusive Relationship
• Do One Thing (DOT) Bystander Intervention • Training for students, staff and faculty
• Other topics by request.
