                Student Activities
Student Activities and the Campus Activity Board (CAB) provide several monthly events on campus throughout the academic year. Check out all the FUN and FREE events on the VU Jasper Events page (www.vinu.edu/web/jasper-campus/events), in your VUX account, or use the QR Code below:
It’s easy to get involved on campus! Vincennes University Jasper supports a wide range of student clubs and organizations that make substantial contributions to the social and academic life on campus outside of the traditional classroom. The University grants official recognition to those groups whose purpose, goals, and programs are consistent with the educational mission of Vincennes University Jasper. Students may pursue special interests, develop leadership, and find social expression and membership in various organizations and activities. For more information about clubs, organizations, and getting involved, visit the Student Activities Office located in the JCCB 135.
Student Recreation
VU Jasper students have free access to a workout room, the Ruxer Center Gym, and the VUJ Rec Room using their student ID cards during designated operating hours. The Rec Room is located in JCCB 136 and offers pool, air hockey, TV’s, gaming, and lounge areas. The workout room and gym are located in the Ruxer Student Center.
Bookstore
The VU Jasper Bookstore is located in the lower level of the Administration Office Building. Be sure to check out our textbook rental program, digital textbooks, and traditional textbook options. The Bookstore is the official source for Vincennes University Jasper apparel, mugs, hats, and required class supplies. Snacks and drinks are also available for purchase. The VU Jasper Bookstore accepts cash, check, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard for bookstore purchases.
The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE)
ACE is a free resource for all VUJ students. The Center provides all users access to library materials, free tutoring services, and support from student success coordinators.
Library Resources:

• Access to a wide selection of printed and electronic information sources • Off-campus access to the library’s electronic resources
• Wireless internet access
• Computer access with printing (black ink only)
• Laptops, webcams and other technology for check out
• Group study rooms with multimedia equipment

• Make-up and accommodation testing – VUJ classes only
• Textbook reference shelf
Tutoring:
• Homework assistance with peer and professional tutors
• Group and one-on-one tutoring
• Virtual tutoring

• Study strategy assistance
Student Success Coordinators:
• Assistance in determining student academic, personal, and professional goals • Explore ways for students to develop special strategies for success
• Offer information and guidance regarding collegiate programs

• Provide Degree Works, VUX, and Blackboard training • Accountability study groups
