School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
Study the sciences (physical, natural, and health), technology, engineering, and mathematics. The School of STEM and Health Sciences is engaged in various campus activities open to STEM and non-STEM majors including, but not limited to, Lecture Series, High School Engineering Competition, Showcasing Student Success, Early College (CCAP), and Pathways to Transfer to four-year University. The School of STEM and Health Sciences encompasses Adaptive PE, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Allied Health, Architecture, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Information Science, Electronics, Engineering, Geography, Geology, Health, Kinesiology, Kinesiology Dance, Mathematics, Nursing, Oceanography, Physics, Physical Science, Respiratory Therapy.
School of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences
In the School of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences (HASS) students develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the breadth of human experience through many different mediums and the study of people and societies. Students can express themselves through dancing, singing, creative writing, music, and acting, but also explore the world through history, literature, philosophy, film, animation, and the lens of a camera. Students in the School of HASS will explore how people learn and grow into individuals, how they make decisions, and how their experiences, their history, and their heritage can shape the way they view the world. They will develop the skills to express themselves and unleash the imaginations that will shape culture and society, while learning to understand, communicate and appreciate our diverse cultures and communities.
