                School of Business, Law, and Academic Resources
 For students who are interested in gaining a new career or moving up in an existing career, the School of BLAR offers certificates in the following: Bookkeeping, Management, Paralegal Studies, Restaurant Management, Catering, Administrative Assistant, as well as degrees in Business Administration and Political Science. In the near future, the school will be offering classes in Entrepreneurship for students who want to begin their own business in any field such as opening a new restaurant, establishing a real estate or law practice, or any other kind of business that requires the skills we offer. This School houses the departments of Business Administration (including programs in Business Real Estate and Economics), Business Education Technology, Political Science (including Paralegal, Global Studies, and Public Administration), and Restaurant Management. The emphasis in Business prepares students for employment within the business world by offering a variety of courses in business such as management, accounting, marketing, and real estate. These classes allow students to comply with lower-division requirements for transfer to university level programs and for updating skills for the already career-oriented student. The emphasis in Law/Politics prepares students for law-related and political-related careers. Within the Department of Political Science exists both the Paralegal and the Pathways to Law School programs which prepare students for careers as a paralegal or an attorney.
 School of Public Safety and Industrial Technology
 The School of Public Safety and Industrial Technology offers students access to Career Technical Education (CTE) courses where they develop and master the skills necessary to secure a high-wage, in-demand career of their choice. Programs include Adult Education, Automotive, Aviation, Basic Skills, Community and Contract Education, Construction, Cooperative Education, Criminal Justice, Emergency Medical Services, ESL, Fire Technology, and Welding. Students across departments engage in hands-on learning through the use of state-of-the-art technology, industry standard equipment, and the latest simulation training in industry accredited programs. CTE courses deliver a technical and core academic education where students develop the essential and technical knowledge required for career success in an ever-changing labor market. CTE students will develop problem-solving capabilities, project-completion skills, research competence, communication tools, time management proficiency, and critical thinking skills through their college coursework. Students will learn about the entrepreneurial mindset preparing for success as either an employee or entrepreneur.
