The Pantry helps to aid any Bakersfield College enrolled student with the following services:

Donations Welcomed
The Renegade Pantry gladly accepts non-perishable/perishable food, hygiene items, clothing, blankets, toys, pet food,
school/office supplies, and/or similar donations. Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Office of Student Life. You can
also help by volunteering at The Pantry during distribution week or at other pantry events, such as bake sales or yard sales;
sign-ups are in the Office of Student Life or online.
Here are some other ways that you can support the Renegade Pantry:
$
Donate Plastic Bags
$
Bring home hotel shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, soaps, etc. from conferences or personal trips
$
Clean out your kitchen pantry of any soon-to-expire items
$
Clean out your closet of clothing or shoes you don’t wear anymore
$
Have a class competition/project in your department to bring in non-perishable items (which class can get the most
items donated)
$
Talk to other family and friends regarding their donations to the Pantry
$
Connect local businesses to the Pantry
$
Volunteer in the Pantry during events and community outreach programs

As a service to students seeking off-campus housing, the Office of Student Life maintains a listing of apartments and rooms for
rent. Student Life does not endorse any listings; however, both landlords and students are expected to live up to their
respective obligations. These listings describe the facilities being offered and other pertinent information. Students interested in
further additional information must visit the Office of Student Life.

It’s Bakersfield College in the palm of your hand! At a school like Bakersfield College that puts on hundreds of events each
semester, you need more than flyers and emails to keep up with what’s happening on campus. This is why we have introduced
the BCRenegades mobile app. Browse through the calendar, get all the info on events you’d like to attend, and even set
reminders before certain events start! Hear the latest campus news, receive notifications for important dates, and connect with
your fellow renegades.
We are excited to announce our latest version of BCRenegades, which released the Renegade Feed: write posts to engage
with us and your fellow renegades, or browse the feed to see the next upcoming event, featured events, and see who’s
checked in at an ongoing event.
BCRenegades app users can expect to find:

Feed: Write posts to interact with others using the app. Ask us questions about the app or about an event, or
engage with peers. Also use the feed to check for upcoming and featured events.
