Library services also include online chat, a reserve collection of textbooks, group study rooms, study carrels for individual study, photocopiers, and a printer. Your student photo I.D. card is your library card and can be used to check out books and reserve study rooms. Only currently registered students can check out library materials and access electronic resources. Printing is available on all computers in the library building for 10 cents per page. Computers with Internet access are available on the second floor of the library building, and
computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office are available in the Computer Commons on the lower level of the library building. WiFi is available for registered students throughout the building. For current hours and contact information, visit our webpage.

The BC Archives is a special collection of the Library, located on the 2nd floor. It houses materials representing the long and continuing history of Bakersfield College. The Archives is open for research on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or other times by arrangement. Part of the collection can be viewed at the website.
