The Preschool curriculum is based on national and state standards for literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts, and technology. The students learn content and skills through daily experiences.
We strive to develop a partnership with every family to support children’s optimal development and learning. If you would like any more information regarding the curriculum, please feel free to ask your child’s teacher.
Selection Criteria for All Pre-K Students:
The following are requirements for selection to the Preschool Program:
• Custodial parent must reside in the attendance zone of the requested Pre-K class.
• Four years old on or before September 1st of the current school year.
• Original certified birth certificate.
• Original updated Immunization form.
• Valid Social Security Card
• Random selection will be held in April, at the requested school
if needed.
• Parents registering their child must have a valid picture ID and
proof of residence.
• Online registration site is: https://alprek.asapconnected.com
and normally opens the second week in January, with student selection starting April 1st.
