The Student Handbook & Academic Planner is a guide to student life at Coastal Carolina University
– its governance, organizations, policies, facilities and services. This handbook is a supplement to the University Catalog, the
Student Organization Handbook and other publications. The University may amend or modify University policies as stated in
this handbook and other publications and will attempt to notify students in a timely manner of such changes.
Each student enrolled at Coastal Carolina University is individuallly responsible for knowledge of all current University
policies. Students are also responsible for general and specific requirements contained in the following:
