Cover Designer
Julia Celestino is a junior here at Coastal Carolina University. After
going to college and being undeclared for a year, she decided the
Graphic Design department was going to be her new home. She is
a person who loves to come up with creative ideas and find new,
interesting ways to do things. In her free time, she loves to paint,
draw and design things.
DESIGN DESCRIPTION
This designer brought a fresh new look to this year’s cover by
keeping the original image of Chauncey but changing it to make
it look more modern. She attempted to stay away from what has
already been done but still keep the CCU tradition. She came up
with a geometric design, a new look for Chauncey! These geo-
metric pieces are not just triangles, but a look inside at Coastal
Carolina University. Not everybody looks the same, but all togeth-
er we make up one big community. The designer also wanted
something that was visually appealing to look at, something that
would force someone’s eye into the art work. The recognizable
colors helps represent our school and everything we are about.
What better way to start off your day than to write down import-
ant information in your Teal Pages agenda book?
