UNIVERSITY RECREATION
I like to be active. What options are there at CCU?
Coastal Carolina offers a broad range of programs and services for you to stay active. Our fitness facility is located in the HTC Center, and you can do cardio or lift weights on your own, take a group fitness class or climb the rock wall. If swimming is more your thing, you can do so at the aquatic center in Williams-Brice. If you prefer to play sports, you can try out
for one of the club sports teams or play intramurals. Finally, if you prefer to be active in the great outdoors, you can do so by renting various equipment or go on one of the outdoor adventure trips.
I would like to ride a bike around campus, but I don’t want to bring my own. Can I borrow one?
Yes. Through the Coastal Cycles program, you can rent a bike for free for 30 days from either the HTC Student Recreation Center or University Place. After 30
days, you have to return the bike for maintenance, but you are able to renew it if there is availability.
