There is a nominal fee for some laboratory testing, medications and office procedures. Student Health Services does not bill insurance companies or other responsible parties; however, proper documentation will be provided to enable students to pursue reimbursement from insurance companies.

What medical services are available on campus if I get sick or injured?
Student Health Services schedules appointments for an array of medical concerns, including general, physical, women’s and sexual health. You can

No, but the University does have a partnership developed with Walgreens. Walgreens will deliver medication to
any student living on campus. Please consult with Student Health Services to get instructions on how to sign up for this service.
Is there a pharmacy on campus?
What if I have a hold on my account because I have not submitted my immunization records?
All students attending Coastal Carolina University are required to meet the University’s Immunization Requirements prior to registration; a copy of your immunization record must be provided
to Student Health Services prior to your enrollment. To upload your immunization records, visit coastal.edu/health.

A free accidental insurance program is available to all full-time CCU students.

A comprehensive plan is also available through CHP. To sign up for either plan, go to studentinsurance.com.
Counseling Services are free of charge. The only students who pay any fees at all are those who are judicially referred for education or assessment due to drug and alcohol violations. Students who voluntarily seek those same alcohol and drug services are not charged.
