I am interested in studying abroad; what should I do?
CCU offers many different study abroad options for our students from one-week experiences to a full academic year. You are encouraged to check out all of the options at coastal.edu/studyabroad. On the website, there is lots of information for you and your family members.
What criteria do students need to meet to study abroad?
At least 3.0 GPA to participate in most semester-long programs. For all CCU short-term programs, students must meet the prerequisites of the course offerings and meet the 2.5 GPA requirement. Students with extensive disciplinary issues may not be recommended for study abroad programs.

No. Our exchange partner institutions offer courses in English, but we encourage students to take a foreign language, if feasible. CCU short-term programs are also taught in English unless the class offered is a foreign language course.
