Review your Portal > Student Center > Financials > What I Owe for Outstanding Charges, Pending Financial Aid, Total Due and Due Dates. Also review any Tasks, Holds, and To Do’s.

FINANCIAL AID RECIPIENTS
Accept your financial aid in your Student Center before the payment due date. Your Pending Financial Aid for the semester will count toward your charges on your student account:
• IfyourPendingFinancialAidislessthanyourdue
amount, you pay the difference by the due date.
• IfyourPendingFinancialAidismorethanyourdue amount, we refund the difference to you. Enroll in
e-refund in your Student Center for direct deposit to a checking or savings account.
AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE
Details of the student account are considered private; however, students can give permission so that Student Financial Services can have detailed conversations with designated individuals. Self- enroll in your Student Center; under Student Records, click on Authorization to Release.
*Payment due dates are subject to change. Nonresidents of California pay an additional $396 per unit.
The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made,
to increase or modify any listed fees. All listed fees, other than mandatory system-wide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should
be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory system- wide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028 - 66028.6 of the Education Code).

OPTIONAL TUITION PAYMENT PLAN
Intended only for California residents who are not receiving financial aid. Additional $33.00 contract fee (non-refundable). Self-enroll in your Student Center after your fees have posted and before the payment due date. Enrollment is for one semester only; for future semesters, enroll again.
UNIVERSITY HOUSING CHARGES
Rent and meal plan charges are posted to the student account. For rates and installment due dates, visit: www.csuchico.edu/housing or call University Housing at 530-898-6325.
HOW TO MAKE PAYMENTS
In person: Checks and cash only.
Online: credit and debit card payments, e-check payments from your bank account, and California ScholarShare payments. Login to your Student Center and use the Make-A-Payment button OR visit www.csuchico.edu/sfin, use the Make-A-Payment button and login with student’s Chico State ID# and six-digit birth date.
Mail: personal or bank checks, money orders, 529 and College Savings Plan checks.
Make checks payable to CSU, Chico or Chico State. Include student’s name and Chico State ID#.
