Green River offers Work Study and Non-Work Study employment through the Student Employment Program. To participate in the Student Employment Program, students must be registered for a minimum of six credits at Green River College at all times of employment. Work Study hires must also maintain
Financial Aid eligibility to qualify for Student Employment.
Work Study is part of a student's financial aid and, unlike other financial aid, it is funding that a student receives in the form of a paycheck throughout the quarter, dependent on the number of hours
they work. Students should make note that eligibility for Work-Study does not guarantee a job.
Studentprograms, clubs, recreation, and instructional divisions use Non-Work Study (also known as Work Grant) to hire through the Student Employment Program.
